Is there a similar function like bwareafilt?

Dear all,
I want to ask, if there is a similar function like bwareafilt. Because I have Matlab 2011b and this function isn´t functional.

I think you would have to build your own using
S=regionprops(BW,'Area','PixelIdxList');
