how do I push data from outlook to sql database?

Hello! So for this project I am working on a user would input info in their outlook calendar with fields my co-workers created. After the user inputs info, it would make the appointment and push the data into a sql database. I am having trouble going about exporting calendar/appointment data into sql.. any suggestions?
