upper bound constraints and Genetic Algorithm

Dear friends, I am using the genetic algorithm using optimization toolbox. I have written the inequility constraints which can also entered as upper bounds. But when I keep the inequility constraint null and put these constraints as a upeer bound (UB) in GUI I am not getting the expected answer. Also for equility constraints I get the message that the constraints are dependent and not consistant. What is the problem? As per my opinion, my constraints are correct. Please help me. Thank you
