我也有同样的问题。。。怀疑是学校购买的许可证到期了。。。

The license has not expired yet, but will soon.

It is common for universities to pay for licenses for one year at a time. This permits them to draw the funding from the correct fiscal year. Large organizations often have strict rules about allocating money according to fiscal year.

Also, in some countries, the tax treatment is different. Software that is purchased with a permanent licence might have to be called an "asset" that has to be depreciated over several years, but when a yearly license is obtained then taxes might treat it as paying for a service, which is a "cost of doing business" which can usually be written off completely as an expense.

In a place that I used to work, purchases of assets had to compete against other purchases of assets in the organization, so if someone wanted to buy something really expensive, they would lobby to deny permission for purchasing the software licenses because they wanted to make as much money as possible available for their big purchase (for example, a 2 million dollar machine.) But "operations" money was not split the same way, so I sometimes had to pay for something as a yearly service instead of buying it permanently.
