Is there any way for my c++ to interpretate matlab variable or script?

Hi there,
I have a program written in c++ but which need an array, which is returned by a calculation from a matlab script, as input. For example, if I given the input parameter as
t = -pi:0.01:pi;
input = sin(t) + cos(t);
I would like my c++ to load the variable 'input' such that to traverse every single element. The touch part is the user may change the expression with valid matlab function. Is that any way to do that? By the way, if there is some library that helps, can the compiled program also work in any machine without matlab installed? Thanks.

If MATLAB is not installed then allowing the user to use any "valid matlab function" would be allowing the user to access the full power of MATLAB, and that is prohibited by the Terms of Use of the MATLAB Compiler.
