Graphics problem when zooming

I am encountering troubles when I try to zoom into graphics or figures. Several details and elements are not cropped correctly but instead completely removed from the picture. I attached two screenshots, first the original and the second when I zoomed into the right edge of the circle in the middle. The grid and several points are suddenly not visible anymore. I am running MatLab 2016b on Windows 8.1 64bit, Graphics: Intel HD 4600.

@Clemens Gebhardt: your images were not attached. You need to click both Choose file and the Insert Image buttons.

Hi Clemens,
Can you try switching to software OpenGL? You can do this on windows by executing the following command in MATLAB command window
opengl software
If this solves it, make sure your display drivers are updated.
