How to make the CAN pack/unpack model reflect the change when a new database file/message is selected programatically?

Hello, Once I load a new database file/ select a new message for the CAN Pack/Unpack block, I do not see the changes being reflected in the model (Change in input ports etc). This is only observed when the 'Apply' in the dialog box is pressed. Is there a way to make the model reflect the changes programtically? Matlab Version : 2016b.

Thanks for the links Sachin. However I am using the Java code for the button press as a temporary workaround. Was wondering if there is an official fix by Mathworks that has been released that enables the user to update the model programatically without the need to open and close the dialog box.
