Mapping Values between 2 sets of data

Hello all. I don't have too much experience with MATLAB and was wondering if there was a way to map values. For examples, I have data (assume 2 variables, x&y) in excel that is shaped like a polynomial when plotted, and I got its polynomial trend-line. Now I have a second set of data that's also shaped like a polynomial, but I want to map the values from this set of data to my first data set since the first set of data is my ideal case. So ideally, I want the second set of data to look more like the first set of data by mapping its values to the first set of data.
The x values will be the same. I would primarily be mapping the y values.
