Extracting numbers

I have excel cells of this format:
-1.22070E-02 -7.32420E-02
These numbers are in a single cell. How do I extract them so that I can place them in two different cells?
Pease help me asap.

Have you imported the numbers with:
[data,text] = xlsread(...)
?
