How do i eliminate such rows are not common between two tables?

Dear Experiences...

i have two tables in matlab : fist table involve only 2 columns are : (sample of data)

Country name   State name 
UK             LND
UK             BLG
UK             SEG
USA            WSN
USA            NEY
etc...

Second table ... involve details content such following

State name    var1  var2   var3 ..... var N 
LND
BLG
NEY
etc..

so the output table .. perhaps involve the following

country name State name   var 1 ... varN  ( but only for the states that are exist in both first and second tables)

This is called an inner join

newtable = innerjoin(table1, table2);
