load excel file into matlab

hello, i have an excel file and i tried to load it into matlab with the function xlsread, but even there is a number in a column it returns NAN. do you have some solutions? thank you.

Hi,
What are you exactly trying to do ?
Maybe you can find your answer here , where I described different to load an excel sheet if you want to read number or string.
Or please provide your code with appropriate support (.xlsx, ...)
