Generating a third function from two existing functions

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hi All,
I'm having trouble with a pretty basic question here. I have looked at prior answers ( <http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-QLCPT/index.html?product=SL&solution=1-QLCPT> and other searches) but all the given code solutions do not seem to be a working solution here.
So here's where I am. I have created two functions:
y1=1+0.1*cos(2*pi*100.02*t)
y2=1+cos(2*pi*100*t)
Done some analysis with 'fft' and now I would now like to create the following function to continue on:
y3=y1*y2
How can I do this?
Thank you so much!

t = linspace(0,10,1e5);
y1=1+0.1*cos(2*pi*100.02*t);
y2=1+cos(2*pi*100*t);
y3=y1.*y2;
