Dear sir, Hope you are in good health with success and happiness. I'm facing a problem that is when I save any matlab file or simulink file then it does not save as like matlab file rather Crome web browser file. For example if I save a file then It save as M file but when it save it shows Crome browser logo not like matlab logo. When I wanna open the saved file then it does not open from MATLAB rather open a new tab in Crome browser ans shows the code.
What should I do to solve the problem?

It sounds as if you are not in the directory you think you are -- or possibly you are attempting to save somewhere under the Program Files directory (such as inside one of the MATLAB installation directories): MS Windows will not allow you to save inside of Program Files unless you are running with administrator permission.

You have set chrome as a default type to read the mat file. Please do the following, If matlab is listed
1. Choose the file,
2. Right click your mouse, and choose open with and select matlab and also set it as a the default app.
If not listed,
1. Choose more app and then Look for another app in this PC
2. Go to directory where matlab is installed
3. Go to bin and then select matlab.exe
4. Also set it as default app.
