Surface plot to CAD model

Hi. I have a 3D surface plot which i have fitted to some (x,y,z) points using 'fit' function. Result is a 1x1 Surf type. I want to convert this surface into a mesh or a CAD compatible model file(preferably a .stl file) so that I can import it in a CAD tool. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
