Is it possible to call Python directly from MATLAB Online?

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
I'd like to run Python (using the "py." notation...) from within MATLAB scripts via MATLAB Online. Is this possible? I see that Python 2.7 is installed on the linux server that the MATLAB Online instance is running on (via "system('which python')"), and I am able to use the system() function to run python externally. However, using the "py." notation from within MATLAB produces the error "Undefined variable "py" or class "py.textwrap".".
Is it possibly to run Python in this fashion from MATLAB online?
Also, is it possible to - even temporarily, within a given session - install additional Python packages on the linux server running a MATLAB Online session?

Hi Corey! This has been addressed and the feature should be available in your next MATLAB Online session. Please let us know if you have any other comments or questions.
