Why do I get not found in path during install of rtl sdr support

When I attempt to install the rtl sdr hw support package on a Win7 machine, it fails during install of 3rd party packages with a bunch of the following warnings:
Warning: "C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2016b\toolbox\shared\sdr\sdrbase\sdr" not found
in path.
> In rmpath (line 66)
Warning: "C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2016b\toolbox\shared\sdr\sdrbase\sdrmapi" not
found in path.
> In rmpath (line 66)
Warning: "C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2016b\toolbox\shared\sdr\sdrr\sdrrdemos" not
found in path.

That warning message will not stop the installation from working.

Thanks, I realize that the error was from when I tried to un-install the failed installation and incorrectly assumed that it was from the failed installation
