Restoring the previous setting

Hello all,
When I was using Matlab, there was one window for several tabs that display the code, but something has happened and this window disappeared and I can see only the command window. If I open any Matlab file, it opens in a new window so I have several windows for several Matlab files and this annoys me. I need the previous setting but I do not know how to restore it.
