Problem getting data from yahoo using fetch

When i run the following line: DataSet = fetch(c,'SPY','1900-01-04', '2099-11-13');

I get the error message: Error using yahoo/fetch (line 387) Unable to return historical data for given security.

It use to work but not any more, so what can i do to getting things to work again?

It seems that the Yahoo Finance API feature has been discontinued by Yahoo and they won't be reintroducing it again.

More information on the same can be gathered from Yahoo Help Community.

Seems that yahoo finance has changed its API You can use this code to get the OHLC daily bar data from google finance instead
