You can use mat2gray() to do the program equivalent of the scaling that imagesc() does.
Are you certain that you want every frame to be scaled independently of every other frame? If you have two frames, such as one with the range 51 to 58, then should that have the same brightness and colors as if the range had instead been 201 to 208 ?
