Is the "fact command" equal to the "factorial command"?

I found an example to other function that use the command fact to solve all the problem but when run the code MatLab not reconognice the command. I've been searching in the web and found that "fact command" In MuPAD Notebook only, fact(n) represents the factorial of an integer. Then, I suppose that the factorial(n) is the same but I'm not sure. Can you solve my doubt please?

Almost certainly, but without context would be hard to prove unequivocally.
