Selection of objects for tracking

Hello, As a part of a research I need a way to track the motion of an object as it moves along a video file. The ideal solution for me would be a GUI which allows manual selection of a line\area (which marks the object of interest) and then performs tracking for the specified selection. Does anyone know of such GUI or can guide me to one which I can start from?

Hello, i'm working on a AI-Vision project as a part of my master thesis and i face the same problem. could you please advise if you found a tool for tracking of manually selected objects ?
