Code for Trapezoidal FIlter?

Hi! We are working on a digital trapezoidal filter,and somehow,we are unable to get the actual output response.The only thing we can come up with is to construct a trapezoidal shape, and then convoluted the result with the input signal,however it doesn't display what we need.Can anyone share the code for a trapezoidal filter using its coefficients?

I would use the firls or similar function to design the filter. To see the response in the frequency domain, use the freqz function. Use the filtfilt function to do the actual filtering of your signal.
