save image in matlab

hi everyone, I want to save an image from a generated figure in matlab with specified size(1280 x 720), without edges. I tried the command print but i don't succeed to obtain the result. Could someone help me? thank you

Please read this topic in a documentation: Save Figure at Specific Size and Resolution.

What do you mean by "edges"? Can you attach some image? Perhaps box command will help.

Thank you for your answer. when i use the command print, automatically matlab save the figure with the edges that is to say the gray contour of matlab figures. I don't want them in output figure, but only the true image.
