how do i go along 2Darray matrix from middle of array

for e.g i have a matrix
B=[1 6 8 9 1 5; 9 8 7 6 2 6; 2 5 4 9 3 7; 1 2 5 8 7 2]
i want to start from middle of array (3,3) and go across to the right or to the left, how would i do this? without getting error messages, and also how will i do this for any given matrix. even if it is a (5 x 9) matrix, or (3 x 3) matrix

B(3,3:end) %across to the right
B(3, 1:3) %across from the left
