What kind of algorithm is used for azimuth and gcxgc functions ?

Would it be possible to provide me algorithms for Azimuth and GCXGC functions? I am trying to program it in another language and I cannot find anywhere what algorithm was used.
Thank you

Which toolbox(es) do these come from? They are not in MATLAB proper. I don't even see the name coming from a TMW provided toolbox. Google finds multiple hits for azimuth.m as a MATLAB function. Likewise, gcxgc.m appears as a file exchange contribution, but I don't see it in MATLAB or a MATLAB toolbox.
So if they are from some unknown MATLAB toolbox, then there should be a reference link at least.
If the code comes from the file exchange, or some external toolbox, then why are you asking on Answers? Contact the source!
Alternatively if they are m-files, you can always look at the code. Well written code will have comments, explaining what was done. Poorly written code won't. You don't really want to use poorly written code anyway.
But are you asking us to somehow magically know what particular codes with those names you happen to be using, and for us to find them online, download them, then provide complete documentation for code written by some unnamed random individual?

The toolbox is called Mapping Toolbox. The functions are azimuth and gcxgc. Maybe I did not write my question properly. Not sure if it is possible to show me how the function (already in Matlab) is written.
thank you
