Does webmap work within a standalone app?

When I compile a standalone app and test on a different computer, the webmap function does not work. There is an internet connection.

webmap is deployable from R2016b and you can create standalone application with webmap. One point is, webmap window will be closed soon, so you need to keep it open.
Here is a very simple example to test webmap as a standalone application. By using while loop, webmap keeps open.
function webmapDeploy
wm = webmap;
while 1
end
end
