When I load this following error appearing

Try this
[FileName,PathName] = uigetfile('ECG.mat');
localdir = dir;
cd(PathName);
load(FileName);
cd('C:\Users\username\Documents\MATLAB\cd');

Try this
[FileName,PathName] = uigetfile('ECG.mat');

cd(PathName);
load(FileName);
cd('C:\Users\username\Documents\MATLAB\cd');

Not yet solved! Still I am unable to load that.dat file. I need the code to load it.

You will not be able to load that file using the "load" command!
