Stochastic simulation with variable volume

I am trying to set up a stochastic model in Simbiology. We need to account for the expansion of the cellular volume. I am not totally sure how to set this up. Should that be controlled by a rate rule controlling the compartment capacity? Will this be properly handled by the stochastic solver?

As mentioned on this page, rules are not currently supported with stochastic solvers. If you are using a deterministic solver, you can use a rate rule to modify a compartment volume.
