Importing data from .mat file into uitable

DirContents = dir(pwd); DirFiles = {DirContents.name}; settingsFlag = DirFiles(~cellfun(@isempty,regexpi(DirFiles,'Settings.mat'))); % 1 = exist/0 = doesn't exist if settingsFlag == 1 for i = 1:length(handles.fileName) set(handles.uitable1,'Data','Settings.mat'); data(i,:) = {load('Settings.mat'),signals{i}}; end end
I am trying to import data from settings.mat into the first column of my uitable. Any help would be appreciated.
