How to access an online movie database and output data?

Im trying to create a GUI/ program that extracts data from an online movie database such as : http://www.omdbapi.com/
im not sure how to write the program, or how to start. Tryin to extract simple things such as Title, director, genre, etc.

Looks like the website is providing REST API for accessing the data. After getting the API key(generally websites provide that after registering), you create the REST URL for accessing the data you want, and then call that URL using MATLAB's "webread" command. For more information about this command, look at the following URL:
