How do I plot a variable with three indexes?

I would like to plot the saturation of a sponge, which depends on three variables: time, axial coordinate and radial coordinate. This would lead to a 4-axis plot. Is there a way to do that? Or maybe would it be better setting a small time step and printing multiple plots corresponding to the trend of the saturation w.r.t. the two spatial coordinates at each specific instant?
