Image noise estimation (image binarization)

I'm working with image binarization in matlab and some binarized image are noisy compared to others. Now, I want to know how noisy the binarized image is for me to determine if I should put noise reduction in the image. Is there any way to get/calculate the percentage of the noise in the binarized image in matlab?
