Correlation between two variables (not same size, not pairs)

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hi, I'm new to Matlab and have a question.
I have these two variables, fi and fu.
fi has 94 rows and 1 column.
fu has 41 rows and 1 column.
How can I calculate the correlation between fi (as a whole) and fu (as a whole), and the P-value?
I don't want the correlation changes when I change the sort of numbers either in fi or in fu (like below).
.
row 1: fi(1) fu(1)
row 2: fi(2) fu(2)
------------------
row 1: fi(1) fu(2)
row 2: fi(2) fu(1)
.
any help would be appreciated

you might want to look into crosscorrelation?
