InputParser with single argument (not pair)

How can I make a Inputparser to react to a single optional argument instead of a pair. For example, that I can do:
func('help')
instead of
func('help',true)
Note that 'help' is an optional argument, and I want it to be can be called in any order.
Does anybody have an idea how to do this?
Any help would be appreciated!

inputParser cannot handle that situation. Only leading arguments can be values by themselves, and those are positional, not able to appear anywhere.
