How to do Multithreading Matlab?

Hi guys! I'm working on my thesis project and I have some problems to run simultaneously three different tasks:
  • a simulink model
  • Graphical User Interface
  • An additional script
My computer is a dual-core. Is it possible to solve this problem? And in case, could you explain me how?
I'm trying to implement a scripts multithreading.
