dendrogram vs cluster function

I ran a cutoff hierarchical cluster analysis and produce a dendrogram with optimum cluster number. [~,T]=dendrogram(Z,22); T shows classes attributed to each data point. I ran c = cluster(Z,'maxclust',22); c shows classes attributed to each data point. The cluster results is equal (I mapped them), but the name (assigned number) of the classes is not equal. Because of that I'm not sure if in dendrogram the elements of T are under the right node.
