What is the difference between different Optical flow classes?

10 次查看(过去 30 天)
I am using optical flow for moving object detection. There are several classes available like Lucas Kanade, HornShunck, Farneback which use their respective algorithms. I can't decide on which one to use. Any help is appreciated.

Hey,I think Horn Schunck is good for this because Horn–Schunck algorithm include that it yields a high density of flow vectors, i.e. the flow information missing in inner parts of homogeneous objects is filled in from the motion boundaries. On the negative side, it is more sensitive to noise than local methods. So i think this is preety good and will help you.
