How do you find quartiles 1 and 3 using the remainder function?

if rem(len_h,2) == 1 idQ2 = (len_h+1)/ 2 Q2 = h(idQ2);
else idQ2 = (len_h)/2; Q2 = (h(idQ2)+h(idQ2+1))/2;
here is my code for lengths that are odd. This is to fine the median
