plot/scatter with marker size and color

hello i need some help as example i have x=1:10 y=1:10 value=1:10
scatter(x,y,value)
so I need to add marker color as it varies depending on the ( value) i tried some codes but it doesn't work

For different color, type
x=1:10;y=1:10;
value=linspace(1,10,length(x));
scatter(x,y,[],value)
To add diamond marker, type
scatter(x,y,[],value,'d')
