How can i create and save to a filename that derives from my data?

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
x= 'a number from my data' (ex *117*)
y= 'another number from my data' (ex *00*)
q=['LOC1_2015_', *num2str(x)*,'_', *num2str(y)*,'_00_00000_CH1.mat']
q =
LOC1_2015_ *117*_ *00*_00_00000_CH1.mat
Now I want to create and save a file name with that name:
save('LOC1_2015_ *117*_ *00*_00_00000_CH1.mat')
Any ideas?

What I mean is how can I extract the value of a variable and use it as a filename?
(If we assume that q is the variable and LOC1_2015_ 117_ 00_00_00000_CH1.mat is the value of q)
