Matlab crashes while using model referencing

Hi In my main model I need to use another model say xyz.slx. Everytime when I include that model as a referenced model and try to update it,matlab crashes,while if I include it as a normal subsystem,it gets updated properly. Kindly help me as a I need to include that model via referencing only.

I am facing same issue in19b matlab. But its happening not during compilation, its happening when i try to pause the simulation using pause time from Debug tab. When I replace model reference with normal subsystem it pauses properly
