How to set up a dynamic optimization problem in optimization toolbox?

Hello! Has anyone tried to solve a dynamic optimization problem with optimization toolbox? I am searching for examples and tutorials etc. but I couldn't find a similar problem. I am trying to solve a multivariable nonlinear equation (with Pontryagin Maximum Principle). If anyone is familiar with optimization toolbox, I would be really grateful for your help. Thank you in advance.
