Nested Tables and UI Tables. Using GUIDE UI figure.

Hi, I want to have an interactive figure with a ui table in it. However, I want to display the table such that:
- Outer table is a 1x2 table
- Inside cell (1,1) there is a table that is 4x2 and;
- Inside cell (1,2) there is another table that is 4x2
Given that to insert data into a uitable the input needs to be a cell, how do I do this?

True, but it does explicitly say you cannot do that with uitable.
There is a possibility that you might be able to implement it using the java objects that underly uitable. See http://undocumentedmatlab.com
