Can app designer be programmed as a controller for several mlapp files?

I know MATLAB is not really designed to do questionnaire type programming but, in the experiment I am running, the sound files are all coded in MATLAB, therefore, my supervisor would like it if the questionnaires were programmed in MATLAB as well. I found app designer and I'm able to create the questionnaires but I would like a controller app that allows users to add new instruction pages, new questionnaires, select a presentation order for them and then run the files in the order specified. Is this something app designer can do?
