Error while creating C shared library from matlab function: Failed to set MCR current directory to:

I am trying to create a C shared library from matlab function. I am not able to do this due to the following error:
Failed to set MCR current directory to:C:\Users\kdivy\OneDrive\Documents\MATLAB
[Warning: Name is nonexistent or not a directry: C:\Users\kdivy\OneDrive\Documents\MATLAB]
[Warning: Name is nonexistent or not a directory: C:\Users\kdivy\OneDrive\Documents\MATLAB]
[Warning: Name is nonexistent or not a directory: C:\Users\kdivy\OneDrive\Documents\MATLAB]
[Warning: Name is nonexistent or not a directory: C:\Users\kdivy\OneDrive\Documents\MATLAB]
Could not determine type of the MATLAB file 'read.m'. Please make sure that you are compiling MATLAB Program files.
read.m is a simple function that takes no parameter and returns a value
