Any suggestion to implement a nested list 1) expand and collapse the list at will 2) trigger an action after click one inner list items. It is similar to Expand and Collapse tree node in App Designer. But I use regular uicontrol. Thanks

The answer might depend on what version of MATLAB you are using. In newer versions, you can use the uitree function outside of AppDesigner as long as you are creating an uifigure. Is there a reason you need to only use uicontrols?

I am using R2016b now and can move to the latest version if needed. uitree seems not working as of now. I love to see more suggestions. BTW, after the posting, I found Java Tree Wrapper in the file exchange that works in some level. Anyway, I love to see more on the uitree side and if possible, simple example.... Thanks.
