hello, i want to calculate the cost of building by a neural network and for that i am providing the data INPUT " which includes the quantity and cost of doing that" TARGET " final cost which is simple multiplication of quantity and cost of doing that" how should i do this in neural network tool to get exact results or approximate results

Do not use a NN for simple multiplication.
If you are looking for an introductory problem see the examples at
help fitnet % regression/curve-fitting
and
help patternnet % classification/pattern recognition
