How to display a matrix as a picture?

I want to save a matrix in the matlab as an image to use in microsoft word. Let's say
A= [0 1; 2 3]
I want to save this (or display it) as a picture like this:
Is it possible to do?

Hi,
What about the function imagesc ?
A = [0 1; 2 3];
imagesc(A);
colorbar;
