How do i draw spline in MAtlab having a particular length?

I want to create 1D spline in matlab of a particular length '10'.Kindly tell me how do i go about this.Does drawing a spline require any other parameter.PLease feel free to specify any parameter you feel its neccessary to draw it,but the length on the graph should be of length 10m
