copy string to other edit text in same GUI

hi all
just wanna ask very simple question since im a beginner...
how to copy the same string between 2 or more edit text for example i will set: set(handles.editText1, 'String', 'a')
how can i set editText2, editText3, editText4, etc... to be the same as editText1 String which is 'a'

set([handles.editText2, handles.editText3, handles.editText4], 'String', get(handles.editText1, 'String') )
